Curtin Career Service - The Careers Service works with students and graduates to enhance their career prospects but we can't do that on our own!Working with you, we can help our students to develop personal and professional skills which equip them for careers of their choice. Together, we can also raise employers' awareness of why Curtin University of Technology should be a preferred source of graduate recruits. These Sections show you how the Careers Service can work with University staff to achieve these goals.

Who we are / What we do
We are committed to helping students develop the necessary skills to effectively identify and implement their career goals. We invite you to partner with us as we work to prepare Curtin students to realise their potential as professionals and leaders of tomorrow.

Faculty Consultants
Career Practitioners are available as resources to academic schools and individual faculty members who are seeking assistance with class presentations, programs, resources, or information dealing with a variety of career related topics.

Career Curriculum Resources
The Career Service develops a range of resources to assist you and your students with their career development and job search. These resources are held in the Career Resource Centre

Graduate Data
This information can assist faculties demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning. Employment destinations can be improved by incorporating career planning into the curriculum. This emphasis on preparing students for successful careers is a powerful marketing attraction - a win win situation!

Experience Works and Mentoring
Experience Works and Mentoring are opportunities for students to explore a career field. These programs complement practicums, student do not receive payment or academic credit; but gain valuable first hand information and can begin their networking. Insurance cover is available.

Further Assistance for Your Students
Employer contacts, advertising specific employment opportunities, links to employment agencies; and the Work integrated Learning, Employability Skills, Graduate Attributes and Skill Shortage agendas are examples of where we can provide assistance.
