This report provides data on the mean and median salaries of Curtin graduates who completed their course in 2005. The data was collected from the Graduate Destinations Survey which is conducted by Curtin University in association with Graduate Careers Australia (GCA). This is a national survey which is administered to graduates twice a year, once in October (with the reference period being as of '31 October 2005')and once in April (with the reference period being as of '30 April 2006'). Therefore, the 2006 report describes the responses from the 2005 graduates.

In the 2006 AGS, new graduates were surveyed regarding their major activities, including full-time study, full- or part-time employment, seeking employment or their unavailability for work or study.
